Join us for a fun opportunity to learn about Padel, the hottest new racquet sport, with Harvard Westchester alumni.
Ready for a break from yellow whiffleballs and "the kitchen"? Padel is the newest, coolest kid on the racquet sport scene. We is excited to present an opportunity to learn Padel (please say puh-DEL) from professional coaches at an indoor Westchester facility. Padel is a a fast-paced mix between tennis and squash played in a glass and wire mesh-walled court. The court is 10 meters wide and 20 meters long, approximately 1/3 the size of a tennis court, and gameplay is with a ball that resembles a tennis ball with lower internal pressure. Doubles play encourages teamwork and cameraderie.
Padel is also the only racquet sport we know of where players can run out the door of the court, hit the ball and reenter the court during point play.

Our gathering will be held at Skyline Cross Court Pickleball and Padel Club, NY. Four indoor, state-of-the-art, climate controlled courts will be available, and refreshments will be provided in an adjacent lounge area. Participants of all skill levels are welcome from players wanting a first experience to more advanced players. Two padel pros will staff the event and provide instruction and organize play. For those without their own paddles, extra equipment will be provided.
