June 6th - private tour of The Met's Special exhibit to mark it's 150th anniversary
We have arranged a private tour to the for a private tour of the "Making the Met, 1870 - 2020" exhibit along with all day access to the museum.
In honor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 150th anniversary, the Museum has mounted a special exhibit, "Making the Met, 1870 - 2020."
This exhibit provides an immersive, thought-provoking journey through the history of one of the world's pre-eminent cultural institutions. "Making the Met" features more than 250 superlative works of art of nearly every type, arranged around transformational moments in the evolution of the Museum's collection, buildings and ambitions.
A private tour guide will bring the exhibit and the Met's history to life for our group. The tour is scheduled from 2:30 - 3:30 PM. Attendees will have access to the full Museum from 10 AM until close at 9 PM. Additionally, a lunch in one of the private dining rooms or drinks may be arranged depending on the group's interested.
The tour is limited to 20 people. Participants will have to arrange transportation independent but we can look to coordinate as needed.
