EARLY COLLEGE AWARENESS PROGRAM - April 14th
OUR CLUB CELEBRATES TWELFTH YEAR OF THE HARVARD-YONKERS EARLY COLLEGE AWARENESS PROGRAM
Club volunteers offer this unique program encouraging eighth grade students in disadvantaged areas to attend college. The volunteers speak with the students and their families in order to educate them about the necessary curricular path they will need to pursue as they transition to high school, as well as resources available, including financial assistance. Speakers include people eminent in their careers and current college students who have themselves been the first in their families to attend college. The morning begins with a breakfast provided by the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Westcheser.
